Jute Mat (Plain)

Our Jute Mat is a natural, biodegradable matting solution designed for effective erosion control and vegetation establishment. Woven from 100% jute fibre, this heavy-duty mat stabilises soil, suppresses weeds, and retains moisture—perfect for slopes, embankments, and revegetation projects.

This roll covers approximately 45 square metres and comes in a pre-slitted or non-slitted option. (this is the non slitted option) The slitted option contains 6 slits per square metre allowing for easy planting and quick root penetration without cutting or disturbing the matting during installation. Over time, the jute naturally decomposes, enriching the soil and leaving a stable, vegetated area.
